A Hulcher crew from Saginaw, Texas was helping some Canadian Pacific personnel remove the traction motor/axle combos from at least 10 AC4400CW’s which were at the Wabtec-GE Fort Worth Plant waiting to be upgraded in to AC4400CWM’s. The center combo on each truck was being completely removed, while the end combos are being replaced with idler axles. Here the 9506 was being worked on while the 9627 awaits its turn. The work was being done at the north end of the Wabtec-GE test track. |
