Description:  This was the north end of the Union Pacific (former Missouri Pacific) yard at Ferriday, Louisiana. The UP abandoned its line into here in 1988. Ferriday was one of the places mentioned in the song I'VE BEEN EVERYWHERE MAN.

Title:  Car Repair Shop
Description:  This was the contract railroad car repair shop on the Union Pacific (former Missouri Pacific) at Ferriday, Louisiana. At the beginning of 1982 Ferriday was served by rail lines from four directions, but by the end of 1988 these were all gone.

Title:  MidSouth Track
Description:  This was a view facing west along the MidSouth Rail (former Illinois Central Gulf) main line at Delhi, Louisiana; between Vicksburg and Monroe. Up until 1976 Delhi was also served by a branch of the Missouri Pacific running down from Eudora, Arkansas.

Description:  This was the TERRICK (Terral Farm Services) elevator at Delhi, Louisiana. The main line of MidSouth Rail was in the background, across U.S. Highway 80; but I don't know if the elevator was served by rail.

Description:  After buying three SD9's the Atlanta & St. Andrews Bay sampled one SD40 and then switched back over to geeps. Here is SD40 506 between SD9 505 and GP39 507 at the railroad's Panama City diesel shop.

Title:  ASAB GP38-2 509
Description:  Atlanta & St. Andrews Bay GP38-2 509 was on a train heading south passed the railroad's diesel shop at Panama City. ASAB geeps 507-509 were built new with single nose-mounted Gyralights. The loco visible on the other side of pulpwood flat ASAB 2717 was RS1 913.
