| Two pairs of 6-axle Alcos -- C630's 3142 and 3144 on the left, RSD12 2959/C630 3140 on the right -- rest in the railroad's East Bridge Yard. While these units were not very popular elsewhere on the SP, the railroad found them useful for dragging transfer runs across the Huey P. Long Bridge. All were gone from here by late 1977. |
