ICG 462 Editors Pick!
Illinois Central Gulf SW9 462 crosses over the eastbound lanes of U.S. Highway 190 and under the east railroad approach to the Mississippi River bridge. The superstructure of the bridge is visible above the train's third car. The train is on its way from the railroad's North Baton Rouge Yard to switch industries north of there. At this time, all of the ICG switch engines in Baton Rouge were still painted IC black, but they all had their green diamond cab emblems removed.
