| This shows the area around the ICG's intermodal ramp at Stuyvesant Docks Yard after most of the yard had been removed in 1984. The vacant area on the left once contained 17 tracks, which were removed after the land was sold to the Port of New Orleans in 1984. The 4-track yard on the right, with SW14 1460, was built at that time. In the center of the photo, intermodal train P-55 is pulling into the piggyback ramp with three GP40's - 3067, 3036 and 3069 - and 14 cars. |
