A bit dirty, Southern Railway 50-foot XL wears its original blue-yellow-and-green paint scheme which identified it as the 200,000th car built by Pullman-Standard at Bessemer, Alabama. The car was photographed on the Southern-Kansas City Southern interchange, just west of the KCS West Yard.

Brian Bright General this the 200,000th car built by Pullman-Standard and was dilevered to the Southern Railway, it is the only car ever painted in this scheme, current location is the NC Transportation Museum, Spencer, NC they hope to restore it to the original paint scheme. 4/8/2017 12:54:24 AM
