| Louisville & Nashville GP9 526 was in a set of transfer power at the Missouri Pacific's Avondale Yard, just across the Mississippi River from New Orleans. It had been built in February 1956 as the 451, was renumbered 526 in 1965 and was retired the year after the photo was taken. |
