SP No. 1
Shortly after going to tri-weekly operation on 1 October 1970 the SUNSET was on its way out of New Orleans with its expanded consist at East Bridge Junction. The train was about to begin its ascent of the Huey P. Long Bridge, and was crossing over from the westbound to the eastbound track in the middle of Central Avenue. The orange tank car on the left was the New Orleans Public Belt's fire car for the bridge. (approximate date)
