| Illnois Cenral Gulf GP10 8216, SD40 6056 and U33C 5058 were on a southbound grain train crossing the bridge across Pass Manchac, Louisiana. The new concrete structure was completed in 1972 and replaced the wooden trestle next to it. The train will have to reverse direction in Kenner, just west of MAYS YARD, to get to one of the grain elevators along the Mississippi River, so it has a caboose on each end. The 199510 is behind the engines and the 199596 is on the rear. |
