| Jays’s Truck Service dump truck No. 2 was parked behind Bob McKinnon Chevrolet on Chef Menteur Highway (U.S.90) in eastern New Orleans, not far from the Louisville & Nashville’s GENTILLY YARD. Earlier that month, on 4 December, it had been struck by the L&N’s southbound PAN-AMERICAN at the Industrial Road grade crossing about six miles away from here.
