| Gulf Mobile & Ohio caboose 2952 was in familiar territory on the Illinois Central Gulf’s SHORELINE BRANCH LOCAL, as this track had been the GM&O’s main line north from New Orleans. The car had been built by the International Car Co. in 1965 and was subsequently ICG (and Chicago Central) 199042 before being scrapped at Centralia in 1998. The railroad here was abandoned in 1994.
