| Southern Pacific (Texas & New Orleans) S-14 class 0-6-0 844 was at AVONDALE YARD, just west of New Orleans. The locomotive had been built at the railroad’s HOUSTON SHOPS in December 1925 as the 159, was renumbered second 844 on 30 October 1953 and sold for scrap to Commercial Metals in Houston on 5 February 1957. |
