| New Orleans Public Belt SW1500 151 and SW1000 105 had just come off of the Huey P. Long Bridge with a westbound transfer run and were passing WEST BRIDGE TOWER as they entered the Union Pacific’s former Missouri Pacific AVONDALE YARD. The track in the left foreground was the former Southern Pacific main line. The tower was closed in 2017 and subsequently demolished, while the two NOPB switch engines were sold in 2020. |
