Canadian National C44-9WL 2513 was photographed at Baton Rouge, Louisiana in the railroad’s short-lived CN NORTH AMERICA paint scheme which included a gray silhouette of North America. This scheme was introduced in mid-1992, and it was used on 48 new GE units – including this one – as well as many older units; but it was discontinued in 1995. Many people thought the continent was a blemish! The CN version of this model had a 4-piece windshield, instead of the standard 2-piece design. |
