| New Orleans Regional Transit Authority car 459 was heading upriver on the Riverfront Line, having just crossed St. Peter Street and was approaching the Toulouse Street stop. The 459 looks like a traditional New Orleans street car which had been built by the Perley A. Thomas Car Works in the 1920’s, but it was actually built by the RTA at Carrollton Station in 1997 specifically for use on the RIVERFRONT line. |
