Kansas City Southern SD40-2 675, SD40 607 and SD40-2 681 were the radio-control slave units on southbound coal train No. 91 at Siloam Springs, Arkansas while the locomotives on the front were KCS 661, BN 7268, KCS 639 and BN 5109. The coal originated on the BN in Wyoming's Powder River Basin, and the train was delivered to the KCS in Kansas City. No. 91 was headed for Southwestern Electric Power's Welsh Power Plant near Mount Pleasant, Texas, along the railroad's Texas Subdivision. |

KCS No. 53/55 |
Description: |
It's the day after Christmas at the Kansas City Southern's West Yard, and a combined train 53 (for the CSX) and 55 (for the NS) has spent the holiday here. In a little while, it will be seperated into two trains which will be sent to the CSX yard at Gentilly and the Norfolk Southern's Oliver Yard. The locomotives are SD40-2's 681 and 665, SD40X 701 and SD40-2 642. |
