Nebraska Central (NCRC) FP10 1150 and New Orleans & Gulf Coast (NOGC) FP10 1105 were parked in the Union Pacific’s AVONDALE YARD, at the west end of the Huey P. Long Bridge, awaiting movement from the NO&GC to the Idaho Northern & Pacific (INPR). These units were originally Gulf, Mobile & Ohio F3A units 801B and 885A, and were upgraded by the Illinois Central Gulf into Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority FP10's 1105 and 1150 in 1978. |
