GCRY 7034 GRAND VIEW
Title: GCRY 7034 GRAND VIEW
Description: This car was built by Budd in 1948 as Burlington 4722 SILVER STIRRUP, for service on the CALIFORNIA ZEPHYR. It was subsequently Amtrak 9556 and became Alaska Railroad 7034 after being retired in 1984. It went through several changes in ownership, and went to the Grand Canyon Railway in 2004. The GCRY subsequently added full-length letterboards to match the railroad's other Budd cars, trimmed back the skirting, and installed outside-swing-hanger trucks.
