This American Association of Private Railroad Car Owners (AAPRCO) special consisted of P42’s76 and 97 with 20 cars and was crossing Pass Manchac, Louisiana on the Canadian National-Illinois Central. The train had run from Chicago to AAPRCO’s 26th annual convention in New Orleans via St. Louis, Kansas City, Branson, and Shreveport, and was now returning to Chicago. The blurs on the image are actually birds in flight! |
