SD45 5334, GP40-2 3125, GP40 3069 and GP30 3026 lead an eastbound AEPX coal train into the Tennesse Pass tunnel; 10,212 feet above sea level. Six more geeps are 30 cars back in the 45-car train. The helpers were added at Minturn, 20 miles away and 2400 feet lower; and will be cut out at the other end of the tunnel. |
