Title:  KCS Slugs
Description:  Kansas City Southern yard slugs were not typically used at West Yard, just outside of New Orleans; but several of them were regularly kept at the yard in Baton Rouge, and these came to New Orleans for inspections and maintenance. Here were slugs 4257 and 4252 with F7A 4061 outside the diesel shop at West Yard.

Title:  KCS No. 56
Description:  Kansas City Southern SW1500 4337 and slug 4253 were giving train No. 56 a shove up the Mississippi River bridge at Baton Rouge. The train originated at the Norfolk Southern's OLIVER YARD in New Orleans and went to the Santa Fe at Dallas.

Title:  KCS slug 4257
Description:  Kansas City Southern yard slug 4257 was at West Yard, just outside of New Orleans. The unit had just dead-headed in from Baton Rouge - where it was assigned - on a road freight for some attention in the West Yard diesel shop.
