Texas & Pacific Mikado 802 and water car X25402 were photographed at the Texas Pacific-Missouri Pacific Terminal Railroad of New Orleans' service area next to Race Street Yard. Wharves along the Mississippi River can be seen in the background. The 802 was one of 11 T&P Mikados, all built by Baldwin in 1919, and all were modernized with roller bjarings and new main drivers in the 1930's. (approximate day of photo) |

Louisiana Eastern 2-8-2 number 20 was parked in the gravel pit at Shiloh, Louisiana along with other LERR locomotives. Number 20 had been built by Baldwin in July 1919 as Texas & Pacific 810, was acquired by the LERR in 1953 and was scrapped in December 1962. |
