Arkansas Louisiana & Mississippi GP28 1815 was in Monroe, Louisiana. The locomotive had been built in November 1964 as Kansas Oklahoma & Gulf 700, and was subsequently KO&G 570, then Texas & Pacific 570, then Missouri Pacific 850 and then MP 2000. It was assigned Union Pacific 2386, but never renumbered, and became Ashley Drew & Northern 1815 in December 1989. It became AL&M 1815 in 1991, when the AL&M took over the Arkansas and Louisiana Missouri. |

The double stack container car on the front of the train was a regular sight on the AL&M for a while beginning in 1999, as the railroad operated an intermodal terminal at Crossett for Georgia Pacific Corp. and other shippers. |

The paper air filter, in front of the bell, was a later ICG modification. When photographed here at Covington, Louisiana it was making a very unusual appearance on the Shore Line Branch local. |
