Transfer Run |
Description: |
A Southern Railway transfer run rolls past the railroad's Birmingham station behind SD9's 202 and 203 and SD7 201. The Southern only owned one SD7 and six SD9's - all originally Central of Georgia units - and at this time they were all being used in transfer service at Birmingham and Atlanta. |

ASAB SD9 503 |
Description: |
Atlanta & St. Andrews Bay SD9 503 was damaged in a wreck at Youngstown, Florida on 26 February 1978. It was subsequently moved to the railroad's shop at Panama City to be cannibalized and scrapped, and this is what was left four and a half years later. |
