Description:  A pair of the New Orleans Public Belt’s four short-lived C40-8 units were on a westbound train running along the Mississippi River behind Children’s Hospital in New Orleans. NOPB 4001 and 4004 were originally Norfolk Southern 8750 and 8760, and had been acquired from General Electric in 2018; but all four of these (NOPB 4001-4004) were retired in 2020 when the railroad leased a fleet of GP38-2’s from GATX Corp.

Description:  The locomotives for Norfolk Southern train No. 130 had pulled out of the railroad's Oliver Yard in New Orleans, and were seen here at Oliver Junction preparing to back onto their train. The units were - from front to rear - NS C40-8W 9333, SD60 6637, ex-CR SD50 5405 and UP C40-8 9155.
