Comeaux was on the ground at Morgan City, Louisiana protecting the rear of the westbound SUNSET in accordance with Rule 99 as the train waited for a clear signal at the Berwick Bay bridge. The train consisted of FP7 units 6458 and 6457, baggage car 6777, automat car 10613, and coaches 2242 and 2364; and this was the last day of daily operation. Starting the next day, the SUNSET would only run three times a week. |
