| This was car 142 on the 1975 Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey blue train. It was built by Pullman-Standard in 1948 as New York Central baggage-dormitory car 8962, became Rock Island baggage-dormitory 822 in 1959, and was sold to Ringling Bros. in 1968. The car was photographed in the Illinois Central Gulf's Poydras Yard. At that time, the Ringling cars did not wear any reporting mark. |
