| Description: |
Between 15 and 18 March 2004 CSX closed its main line between Montgomery and New Orleans for a track maintenance blitz, and during this time CSX rerouted some trains to the Canadian National at Memphis for movement to New Orleans. Here was CSX R-601 running as CN M-334 at Hammond, Louisiana with SD40M-2 8446, SD50 8647 and 57 cars of mixed freight. This train was delivered to the Union Pacific at the east end of the Huey P. Long Bridge. |
