On 12 October 2019 four freshly-upgraded Union Pacific C44ACM locomotives pere on the Wabtec/GE-BNSF interchange, on their way back to the UP. These former AC4400CW units were the 6595 (serial no. 49833), 6612 (49850), 6616 (49854) and 6668 (49904). Their new stickers listed all of them as built in July 1997, which may be off by a month or two, but at least the serial numbers were correct! Their weight was 412,000 pounds. |
